Travel day to Black Diamond, WA

Day 34: June 26

We drive to the Seattle area and meet a dear friend

Sue Waller Fish and I have been friends since, what? Junior High days? TJ? It’s well over 50 years in any case. We enjoyed a wonderful salmon and salads dinner on her deck overlooking a river that feeds into Sawyer Lake, pictured above. It was an overheated but beautiful evening and Mount Rainier was showing off for us. **sigh**

The rest of the post today is just “stuff you see on the road”

A portion of the Cascade Mountain Range

A cool vehicle

Don’t kid yourself: this driver loves the attention!

Tomorrow: Sue will lead us to Seattle for some fun! Stay tuned!
